Crockpot Pulled Pork Barbecue


Summer and barbecue go together like love and marriage. Easy to prepare and sure to please!


1 (4-6 lb.) Pork Butt

Dry Rub:

1/3 Cup Paprika

¼ Cup Sugar

3 Tablespoons Black pepper

2 Tablespoons Salt

2 Tablespoons Dry Mustard

2 Teaspoons Cayenne

Prepare the dry rub and rub over meat.
Place pork in crock pot.


1 Cup of Apple Cider Vinegar

1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar

1 Tablespoon Cayenne Pepper

2 Tablespoons Hot Sauce

2 teaspoons Dry Mustard

1 teaspoon Salt

Prepare the sauce. Drizzle about 1/3 of mixture over the meat. Cover and refrigerate remaining sauce.

Cook pork on low for 7 to 9 hours, or until very tender. Remove the roast and pull or shred the pork. Put back into the crock pot. Add remaining sauce and cook on low for additional hour.

Serve with fresh coleslaw and your choice of other sides.
